Emerging Technology, Part 1
Facebook's timeline. You know, I never thought that a website could be one of the biggest emerging technologies of 2012. It basically was saying stuff about how the owners of Facebook made their site easily accessible for all users. What surprised me the most was actually not from this article, but from personal use. Facebook decided to make a video chat on their website, similar to Skype. Facebook I can see making dramatic changes in the future, but hey, they got to keep up with other competing social networking sites!

Reflection: Online A
Technology is important because as this new generation moves forward, technology use increases as well. Nowadays a normal person can't leave their house without their cell phone. Technology has changed in the last five years from being where everyone has a flip phone, to being everyone has an iPhone or a touch screen phone. I think technology within the next 5 years would be a lot of the same stuff, just the product or device would be a lot slimmer. For school work, I use a regular computer. For my personal use, I use my iPad mostly. I rarely use my computer at home nowadays. In the future i could use some of the tools i learned in Online A. Tools I could use for practical long life learning would be the image editing websites. Tools I think I wont ever use again might be my blogger, because it's not like it will turn into the next Facebook or anything. My favorite thing to create was my podcast on MyPlick. I thought that was cool how I was able to sync my own audio into a Power Point. Finally my least favorite thing to create was all tho blog posts that we had to do.

March 1st Podcast Post
I listened to a podcast about baseball, the MLB to be exact. I actually liked learning this way because i hate learning things from text, because I would rather learn from listening, and/or visual learning. I think people prefer podcast for the same reason I do, because they don't like reading information from text. The information is reliable, but after they say certain stats or something, they give their opinion on that certain subject area. All in all, i prefer pod casting.

Technology Article (Robot Dog)
A group called Boston Dynamics had created a dog like device that can throw any thing (within reason) a fairly large distance. This dog is for military use, so it wont harm any human beings during combat. This "dog" can lift things, and then wind up, and throw! In the video i watched, it launched a cinder block about 25 feet. imagine what this thing could do during war!
